In August 2013, The Wharton Salon (Catherine Taylor-Williams, artistic director) produced Two By Wharton, an evening of two one-acts adapted from the
short stories of Edith Wharton. The Quicksand, adapted by Alison Ragland, with Ariel Bock,** Wesley Cooper and Ava Lindenmaier,
directed by Catherine Taylor-Williams, opened the evening. The Looking Glass, one of Wharton's ghost stories from her later works, comprised the second act of this
production.
